Established in 2000 as the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (The Port), we are an economic development agency that initiates projects to improve property value and promote job creation throughout Hamilton County. I’m a Clevelander who just recently heard of the passive home movement. I love the short term thought and energy that is being invested in the name of long term efficiency. I love seeing that this is happening in my home state!
Wouldn't a "rammed-earth" home do pretty much everything you set out to accomplish with your stick framed home? Only with the added benefit of being more structurally solid, fire resistant, not requiring all that insulation, all that calking, the copper roof, and the oxidized wood siding, ect?

Also the same unit responsible for the hot stop that killed Sam Dubose and was provoking race riots in Elmwood place. They are also responsible for trying to have a federal wittiness wacked in front of Ray Tensings house. While he was out on bond for murder of an in armed black man.

@@floydthompson8668 By letting the kids from those two schools run wild in the halls and parking lots mugging and robbing women and old people by their car. I grew up in Hartwell and in the 60's and early 70's and my mom took me there a lot for shopping and siting outside listing to the outdoor bands. It's a shame what went on there to one of the first malls in the country. I'll give you another side of it, My father was a Cincinnati Fireman from the house in Carthage. They made 3 to 4 runs there a day for idiots setting fires and customers who got beat up. I left to go to college in 1978 out in Iowa and never really came back but for that mall the hay days were over in the early days of the 70's...
